| Alpine Forest Camp Out Tehachapi Mountains (Southern Sierra Nevada) |
| Day hikers: Carpool leaves LA/Valley at 8:30 sharp; hike starts at 11. RSVP required (email below) Area we'll explore is roadless BLM wilderness @ 5,000' to 7,000' -- 4 hr. strenuous hike (pics above & below) Campers: Sat. dinner and Sun. brunch are included. Tent camping is $30. Cabin space is $50. Space is limited, esp. for trailers or RVs (no hookups available).
