Music Salon, Pasadena

If you have never been to a salon, you will be in for some fun.  We meet
in a stately Old Pasadena home to share different pieces of music which
inspire us.  It could be someone else's work or one of your originals.
Could be prerecorded (audio or video) or live performance (piano on
site).  Vocal or instrumental, lively or pensive.  You'll have five minutes
to share the piece and the group takes five minutes to chat about it.

Sunday January 24, 10am  --  POTLUCK BRUNCH & HIK
E, Above Pasadena
RSVP for info / directions:
angeles.crest@yahoo.com

Easy (1/2 mile) hike to a private cabin above a waterfall.  We'll wander around the canyon after eating.  Easy post-brunch hike is a couple miles, more adventurous is 8 mi.  Sturdy shoes required for long hike. Car shuttle necessary from Forest entrance, so RSVP is required (sorry, no last-minute signup available).
