Big Ol' Hike Above Pasadena

The storms have cleared out the canyons, and waterfalls are thundering
everywhere.  We'll do a ten-mile loop trip to some hidden gems you
may not yet know about.  Bring lunch, warm layers and sturdy boots.
There will be boulder-hopping.  Hot cocoa to follow at the cabin.

Later That Same Day, 5pm -- POTLUCK DINNER & MOVIE,
Above Pasadena
After a long hiatus, wilderness movie night is back!  Take an easy (1/2 mile) hike to a private cabin above a waterfall.  We'll sit around the big stone fireplace, have more cocoa, and watch the world's biggest camp classic, John Waters' "Female Trouble."  Reciting lines is enouraged.  BYOB.

May 15-16, 2010 - Camp Sturtevant Weekend, Santa Anita Canyon (pics here)
The annual gay takeover of a local wilderness lodge is happening in May.  Mule trains take your gear to a full-service resort, which is a four-mile hike above Sierra Madre.  Bunk beds in heated cabins, a water slide, a zip line, camp games and amazing food are waiting for you.  More info
